Benefiting Laketrails
Laketrails has been providing wilderness canoeing and camping adventures for teens and middle school youth since 1952. The heart of our program includes a canoe trip through the Canadian waters of Lake of the Woods. laketrails.org
The McGarry connection began in 1952 when Bill McGarry, Sr. donated the printing of the first brochures for a new camp. As the McGarry clan grew, Bill, Sr. and his wife Maxine began sending their children to Laketrails. Of their 8 children, 7 were campers. The next generation continued the connection with 12 grandchildren, and a few cousins enjoying many adventures on Lake of the Woods. Over the years, McGarry family members have been on Laketrails’ staff as camper-workers, guides and program director, as well as board members and volunteers.

ENTRY FEE - $125 PER GOLFER FOR THIS FOUR-PERSON SCRAMBLE Your entry fee covers eighteen holes of golf with a shared cart, golf contests, prizes, and buffet dinner and prizes at McGarry’s Pub. Smiles, laughter, high-fives and fist bumps are also included as we raise funds ‘fore’ The Laketrails Base Camp program.
